My First Litter Experiance.................

On October 14, 2007 I had the pleasure of welcoming my first litter of Yorkshire Terrier puppies into this world.....another part of my yorkie dream come true.

AKC registered "Lovely Little Lexie" had 4 beautiful and healthy puppies; 2 girls and 2 boys.

Lexie was a bit over the yorkie standard size, but was bred with a little 4 pound male stud.  I have been able to stay in contact with 3 of the puppies' new owners through their first year of life.  At 1 year old, the two females were just over 5 lbs. and the one male weighed 8lbs and all are healthy, well socialized adults.

Having learned alot since my first litter, I decided to have Lexie spayed and purchased a smaller female to use for breeding to better the chance of keeping the pups within yorkie standard.  I do not breed for tinies, but for healthy, happy pups within the standard  4-7 pound range.
